In less than 12 hours after I called Newark Plumbing, a technician arrived at my home. The technician did a great job, and he did it professionally. The cost was about what I anticipated for a last-minute Sunday appointment.

To be honest I think it was way over priced for what was done. The guy came and tightened a collar over the tub faucet with pliers had me turn on the water and charged me close to $400. Guess like they say "you get paid for what you know not what you do". Seriously feel like I got taken advantage of since it was a weekend and late and the urgency. Literally tighten a collar adjusted the hot water pressure a bit and told me a minimum of close to $400 is charged for any repair no matter how minute. Just to tighten the collar that go's over that pipe.

Not a real company, tried to charge me $495 just to declog a toilet, then lied saying he has to snake up to 12 feet but ended up using a auger to go 1-2 ft, and not snake deep in drain. Had to convince him to give me a lower price because the guy wouldn’t leave without $75 for showing up. All the bad reviews are true, and I learned the hard way.

The efforts of Reliable Newark Plumber & Drain Cleaning were highly commendable. They arrived promptly, were polite and helpful, and knew their stuff. They were sensitive to our need for privacy and security throughout the pandemic. They found and removed the blockage in our plumbing immediately and then double-checked to make sure it was gone for good. They filled us up on what was going on and addressed any concerns we had. They stayed until the job was done to our satisfaction. If I ever need plumbing work done again, they will be the first people I call. Absolutely necessary.

I had a wonderful encounter with Newark Plumbing. My Plumber, from start to finish. They are a local company as well as a huge organization. A crew from another company then removed the impacted area to allow access to the conduit. Two days later, Jeff & Newark Plumbing came back to fix the problem by substituting new pipe for the old conduit that had cracked. In addition, they were able to fix a separate problem with my old water heater. 5.0 stars!

Newark Plumbing did an excellent job for me. My water heater was producing some strange noises, so I decided to schedule an inspection. The first lady who answered the phone was quite helpful in scheduling an appointment that worked well for me. When Rena visited my house, we discussed my worries about the hot water heater and agreed that replacing it was the best option. I needed prices on replacing two water valves in my house, so I contacted Rena about that, too. Not only was Rena professional, but he also patiently listened to my issues and addressed my questions with insight and clarity. That made me feel much better, and I think the estimate is spot on. The job was set to begin in two days' time. Install day was the first time I met Jonathan, and it was a delight. Jonathan, like Rena, was really kind and professional, and he answered all of my questions thoroughly and helpfully. The standard of their work has left a lasting impression on me. The shiny copper pipe and the perfectly soldered connections make it look like a work of art. I'm relieved to have finally located Newark Plumbing. They have, without a doubt, gained my confidence and will continue to receive my business.

I had a 3/4 inch crimp that busted late on a Sunday, I was way overcharged for such a small job, first it’s $85 to come down then it was $650 for one crimp, total rip off!!

They continue to work even when I ask them questions, and they clean up after themselves very properly, which is much appreciated. They give a full explanation and get official approval for the repairs before beginning work. Three toilets and a tankless water heater were installed. Any plumber's services will cost money, but when you use Reliable Newark Plumber & Drain Cleaning, you can rest assured that your money was well spent.
